One-Of-a-Kind Pitong Angeles Anting-anting Leather Choker

45.00

These hand-cast brass anting-anting are religious folk art objects from the Philippines' hybrid pagan and Catholic beliefs. You can find these beautiful things on the Evangelista Street side of Quiapo Church. Vendors there say that these objects are harbingers of success and provide protection to the bearer against bodily harm, illness, evil spirits, and curses.

This one in particular is called "Pitong Angeles," literallyn meaning, 'seven angels.' The angels are said to provide guidance and protection for the bearer, one for every day of the week.

It is said that most optimal day to charge the anting-anting in incantation rituals is on Good Friday, in a sacred place of your choosing.

This piece is on imitation leather with antiqued brass chain and lobster claw closure. Will fit 11" - 16" neck. Assembled in Toronto.

Price is in USD, includes shipping to Canada and the U.S.

This piece is one-of-a-kind.
